Current Resonance presents K!ART & Marcela Lucatelli for the second performance of the full-length staged concert work "Skrrt, Skrrt". Premiered in September for a sold out hall in Copenhagen. The composer Marcela Lucatelli, known for her ''scores for the limits of bodies and voice'' (The Wire), has developed a work that is something entirely of its own. Expect an off-beat and edgy musical universe spanning from noise to trap, whining, fragments of words and obscure music reinterpreted. All steered by the principle of communicability - from one reality to another. Like the sound produced when you're driving a car that is just about to make a hard turn. Since its first concert in 2019, K!ART has been working with cringy contemporary music. The ensemble's exceptional instrumentation, which also contains the possibility of electric instruments not inextricably linked to the chamber music tradition, has required a new and very special repertoire. A targeted collaboration with young, upcoming composers is the core of our driving force, which has a special artistic focus on digital media, information technology, performance art and interdisciplinarity.
